One thing before you start: different spaces need different sizes. The right brush should pass comfortably between each space without being forced.

Once in. Once out. Gently.

That’s why once a day matters.

WHY BOTHER WITH AN INTERDENTAL BRUSH?
BUT I BRUSH TWICE A DAY.

Good. Your toothbrush still can’t properly reach everywhere. Between your teeth, plaque can build up where the bristles don’t reach. And plaque isn’t just leftover lunch. It’s a sticky layer of bacteria that can irritate your gums and contribute to bad breath.

An interdental brush gets into those spaces.

“BUT I FLOSS.”

Also good.

Floss can help in very tight spaces.

Where there’s enough room, an interdental brush fills the space with fine bristles that make contact with the tooth surfaces.

More contact means more plaque removed from the places your toothbrush misses.

A LITTLE BLOOD?

Don’t panic.

If your gums bleed when you first start cleaning between your teeth, they may already be irritated by plaque.

Keep cleaning gently once a day. As your gums get healthier, the bleeding should reduce.

If it doesn’t, speak to your dental professional.

ONE MOUTH. LOTS OF GAPS.

And they’re not all the same size.

An interdental brush should fit snugly and move through the space comfortably.

Never force it.

You may need more than one size. The easiest way to get it right is to ask your dental professional to measure your spaces.

NOW FOR THE EASY PART.

ONCE IN.
ONCE OUT.
ONCE A DAY.

That’s it.

Do it for 10 days and see how quickly it becomes part of your routine.
